Flash Mobile Vending was founded in 2004 by Peter Berry. Flash provides informal traders with vending devicec for affordable and safe payments. Initially airtime, but this soon expanded to prepaid electricity and other services. Now the largest informal retail network in Africa, it was acquired by Pepkor in 2014.
